Kipp Stewart Declaration Floating Nightstands for Drexel, 1950s, Signed
Exceptional pair of Mid-Century Modern nightstands or can also be used as side or end tables, designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart McDougall as part of the 'Declaration' line for Drexel furniture. This design being the most coveted and in-demand of the entire line for obvious reasons.
Fabricated from walnut with wood grain and dovetail drawers. The legs have been stained in a darker shade to highlight their form.
This pair of 1950s bedside tables by Kipp Stewart for Drexel would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, scandinavian or danish modern, or American modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a contemporary, Hollywood Regency or post-modern room.
